Mattress on the floor
Yes! A mattress on the floor will allow the toddler to move around.
I recommend a base under/around the mattress, just so the mattress isn’t directly in the floor.
A TeePee can be fun to have inside the bedroom too, if you have anough space for it.
Small shelves
A small shelf with books and toys, so the toddler can play anytime.
Mirrors
A mirror as tall as the toddler.
Desk and chair
You can also put a desk and chair, a small one, so the toddler can sit and play in it.
And let’s not forget that the room must be safe for the toddler. So try not to let any items or furniture that the toddler can hurt when is playing or moving around.
